Bernie's Heating & A/C Service was founded over 30 years ago by Bernie Camacho, a Chicago native who grew up in Vet's Park Chicago a south commuity area and learned the HVAC trade from a long ago friend. After years of working for larger companies, Bernie saw families being overcharged taken advantage of due to large overhead.
He made a promise to provide honest, reliable HVAC service to Chicago families and businesses at fair prices. That promise became the foundation of Bernie's Heating & A/C Service, and it's still our guiding principle today.
What started as Bernie and one little bittie van has turned into a legacy of trust across Chicago. We’ve helped over 2,500 families with everything from emergency repairs to complete HVAC system installations. And honestly? We still love that little van.
